Thanks for stopping by billdoleman.com and letting me share a little about myself, my career, and what I could do for you. From the booth to the studio, I've done a little bit of everything in my more than 30 years in the business. During my career, I've worked games, events, and shows at the national and regional levels as a network anchor, studio host, and play-by-play announcer. I have deep roots as a freelancer working for a number of networks, including: NBC Sports, ESPN, Fox Sports, Big Ten Network, ABC Sports, AT&T/Root Sports, ASN, Eleven Sports, and Fox Sports regional networks on the long list. I was on staff with both Comcast Sports Net/NBC Universal and the Mountain West Sports Network.
I have been a member of the NBC Sports play-by-play team for the last four Olympic Games calling Archery and Tae Kwon Do, Shooting, Modern Pentathlon, and Race Walking (plus an emergency assignment in Judo) in the Summer and Curling and Biathlon in the Winter. The opportunity has led to additional work with the Networks of NBC, including World Championships and World Cup international events.
The bottom line is, my experience in television and radio has given me the opportunity to call a variety of sports at the collegiate and professional levels. I've also done sports talk, programmed a radio station, and have added teaching, voiceover, commercial work, and other projects to my portfolio and there is always room for something new.
